Senior Analytical Scientist – Product Development (R-SAS)
Location: Rochester, Michigan
Position Summary: Senior Analytical Scientist wanted by pharmaceutical company in Rochester, Michigan to provide scientific expertise for analytical development projects for new products.

Develop, validate and apply methods for chemical testing of raw materials and formulations for FDA submissions

Perform chemical characterization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients

Perform method development and stress studies; research and develop analytical methodology for new projects and raw materials

Analyze formulation and perform stability testing to support formulation studies on new products for submission of drug applications

Develop specifications and criteria for raw materials and drug product
Minimum Requirements:
Education / Qualifications / Certifications: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or closely related and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or closely related plus five (5) years of progressive experience and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, or any other qualifying combination of education, training or experience.
