Technology Transfer

Our technology transfer process is geared toward speed and flexibility. We bring products on line and scale up processes rapidly, focusing on your needs throughout the process. For many customers, it is convenient to stay with one contract partner from development through commercialization of a product.

My Canadian Pharmacy offers a turnkey solution and so we work with our customers from the early stages of development through large-scale commercial manufacturing to provide an efficient single source for your manufacturing needs.

MCP Pharmaceutical Technology department is responsible for coordination and management of the technical transfer to MCP’s Rochester, Michigan facility. The technical transfer methodology used by MCP is adapted from suggested programs in ISPE’s Technology Transfer Guide. Our Technology Transfer Program is a six-stage process:

  • Business Analysis
  • Project Scoping
  • Development
  • Submission
  • Approval
  • Launch

Phase I encompasses the Business Analysis, Project Scoping, Development, and Submission stages with Phase II containing the Approval and Launch stages. Each stage contains specific deliverables which serve as gates to the next stage.

My Canadian Pharmacy has appropriate governance systems in place for each phase of your project. These systems monitor and control the technical transfer process and, later, ongoing commercial production.
